"I can finally take my dog on a walk with control and confidence."

“I felt hopeless and discouraged. Eventually I landed a spot in [Hope4Hounds] free community class. I was amazed at their knowledge about dog behavior! I’ve been to about 4 classes, and I can finally take my dog on a walk with control and confidence. Not only was my dog trained, so was I.” – Tamara L.

RATTLESNAKE AVERSION TRAINING

>>> PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO MORE 2022 DATES SCHEDULED <<<

Back by popular demand! For those who love to get out and be active with their dogs and are no stranger to the dangers of rattlesnakes. We CAN teach our dogs some avoidance strategies to help keep every buddy safe. Due to the massive turnout of previous events and additional interest, Hope2K9 will be hosting TWO rattlesnake aversion classes this year!

It is recommended puppies should be at least 6 months old but we are happy to evaluate all 5-7-month olds to ensure each individual is developmentally mature enough to make the correct associations during training (since some individuals mature more quickly or slowly than others). If we don’t feel a puppy is ready, he or she won’t be trained but there will be no charge for the eval.

Heavily dog aggressive or people aggressive dogs are still fine, but we do require for you to note that on the form and keep a safe distance from other attendees until it is your turn to check in and a trainer will come to meet you when it’s time.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hope2K9 Foundation, so this highly recommended class is a win-win for everyone.

We will try our hardest to adhere to the schedule, but some dogs may need a little extra time to get the full benefit of the training, and that is our priority.
